Best Practice - We strive towards leading practice based on the Clean Energy Council’s ‘Leading Practice Principles: First Nations and Renewable Energy Projects’ guide
Early Conversations – We seek to engage with Traditional Custodians from the earliest stages of a project to listen, learn, and ensure that voices and aspirations are integrated into project planning.
Cultural Heritage Protection – We work closely with First Nations groups to identify, respect, and protect sites of cultural significance.
Opportunities and Benefits – We aim to create pathways for employment, training, and procurement opportunities that deliver lasting social and economic benefits for First Nations peoples.
Ongoing Collaboration – Engagement does not end once a project is built. We are committed to fostering ongoing relationships that continue throughout operations and beyond.
